For Rachelle
Mom alpaca: The two-legger is watching. Do it again.
Baby alpaca: How many times do I have to pretend to go?
Mom alpaca: Just a couple more times . . .
A while later -
Baby alpaca: Mom, I really have to go now. Can I? Please?
Mom alpaca: Sure, sweetie. You go ahead. And watch the two-legger.
Baby alpaca: Ahhhh! This feels better . . . uh . . what's it doing?
The baby alpaca watches wide-eyed as the two-legger hops and dances around, flinging its arms through the air and whooping loudly.
Mom alpaca: Not sure. But it's worth waiting for.
